Children's Bureau of Southern California

Rebrand & Redesign

MCI (formerly Magnolia Community Initiative) of the Children’s Bureau of Southern California runs a groundbreaking social innovation program that’s uplifting L.A.’s most marginalized communities. The impact of the program is undeniable, but their brand strategy and communications plan had never been developed.

RIPE was brought on to do R&D and to conceptualize compelling, authentic ways to tell their unique story. The project had many stakeholders, audiences, and decision-makers to incorporate into a methodology that produced real results. It was our intentional processes and collaborative work style that created a fresh brand that’s supporting MCI now, and into the future.

LAUNCH

“MCI was doing incredible work, but struggling to communicate an overarching story. It was critical that a broad variety of stakeholders, from leadership to residents, be a part of the decision-making process. RIPE created a custom process, tailored to MCI’s unique needs, allowing all voices to have a say from the early stages of strategy and planning. The result is a unifying rebrand that captures the vitality and collaborative spirit that fuels their work.”
